I've spent the last twenty-odd years getting my hands dirty creating gardens that work for real people. My passion for plants started early, but I took the plunge in 2006 with formal RHS training at Lackham College to back up my natural instincts with solid horticultural knowledge.

What drives me? Making outdoor spaces that actually reflect who you are and how you live. I don't believe in cookie-cutter designs or passing fads. Instead, I focus on creating gardens with staying power - places that feel right for their setting while still capturing something of your personality.

My clients tell me I'm a good listener, and that matters. Before sketching anything, I need to understand how you'll actually use your garden, what makes you smile when you step outside, and what practical concerns we need to address. Some want tranquil retreats from busy lives, others dream of entertaining spaces that wow their friends, and many hope for productive areas to grow their own food.

Nothing beats the feeling of revisiting a garden I've designed as it matures and hearing how it's become part of someone's daily life. That connection between people and the natural world - even in the smallest urban space - is what keeps me passionate about this work.
